Ella Fyfe is a provisional psychologist who commenced work at Riverina Regional Psychology Practice in 2020 after completing her Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) at Charles Sturt University. Moving from Sydney to Wagga Wagga in 2011, Ella has experience working with adolescents in out of home care, facilitating equine assisted psychotherapy, suicide prevention, and managing small teams.
Ella has a strong client focus and believes in taking a holistic approach to treating psychological problems. She draws from a variety of evidence-based treatment models including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
Ella is interested in supporting both adults and adolescents experiencing a broad range of psychological presentations including depression, anxiety, trauma, low self-esteem, personality disorders and stress. Ella places high importance on the therapeutic alliance and aims to create a supportive and calm space for clients to learn and grow.
As a provisional psychologist, she does not have a Medicare provider number and as such, appointments are not eligible for a Medicare rebate. For this reason, we charge a reduced rate.
